The Coldest Night of the Year is a winterrific family-friendly fundraising walk in support of Youth Unlimited/YFC Elgin County and The Upper Room Emergency Overnight Support for Youth. Let’s change the tune for youth experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness... because it’s cold out there. Join us on February 22, 2025 - team up, fundraise, and walk with us! Opportunities for corporate sponsorships at varying levels. About Youth Unlimited/ YFC Elgin County Elgin County YFC/Youth Unlimited offers a place of safety and support to hurting, homeless, and at-risk youth in St. Thomas and Elgin County. Working in partnership with local churches, businesses, schools, and volunteers, our youth centre and emergency youth shelter meets the practical and spiritual needs of each young person who visits. • Provide overnight support to homeless youth. • Provide one-on-one support to struggling youth. • Provide a safe space where youth can be kids and talk about life, faith, family, struggles, and joys. • Provide support for youth with thoughts of suicide and suicide alertness training for the community.
