St. Thomas residents can grab their rackets, as tennis and pickleball courts at Goddeeris Luyks Park are officially open for the season.
Staff note that the courts will remain accessible throughout the summer and fall, but will no longer be available during the winter months to protect the longevity of the newly resurfaced playing areas.
The four pickleball courts at Goddeeris Luyks Park, located at 465 Burwell Road, are open for public use only and can not be rented out.
Meanwhile, the courts at Pinafore Park are expected to open in the coming weeks.
