The much-anticipated YWCA Women’s Day fundraiser returns to the St.Thomas Seniors’ Centre March 1st, for a day of education and empowerment with members of the local community.
This inspiring event will feature light breakfast, 3 workshops of your choice, a guest speaker during the provided lunch, and more.
Tickets are set to go on sale Tuesday, January 28th at 9 a.m., with those interested in attending encouraged to act fast stressed Melissa Kempf, Communications Manager at YWCA St. Thomas-Elgin.
For those who haven’t attended in the past, Kempf breaks down what to expect.
The day of camaraderie and collaboration will kick off at 9 a.m. on March 1st with breakfast provided by Cobs Bread, followed by the first workshop of the event. Kempf explains just some of the options available to attendees.
Adding that a number of new workshops have made the list for 2025.
Something else unique about the Women’s Day fundraiser this year is the King Charles III Coronation Medal presentation, set to take place during the lunch portion of the event shared Kempf.
Plus the exciting addition of former Olympic figure skater and St. Thomas native Sherry Ball, who will serve as the guest speaker.
Tickets to the YWCA St. Thomas-Elgin Women’s Day fundraiser are $50 each and can be purchased online beginning Tuesday.
