A 41-year-old St. Thomas resident has been arrested following a violent altercation over the weekend.
The individual was wanted on charges of Failure to Comply with a Release Order, Assault with a Weapon, and Uttering Threats to Cause Death after allegedly assaulting an acquaintance with a hammer.
The St. Thomas Police Service (STPS) was notified Monday, January 20 by London Police that the suspect had been taken into custody by their service on the strength of the STPS warrant.
Once back at St. Thomas headquarters, the suspect was processed and held overnight for a court appearance the following morning.
