A 33-year-old St. Thomas man has been arrested for sexual assault.
The victim, seeking shelter from the cold, was asleep in an open shed near the downtown core when the assault took place.
The two are known to each other but have never been involved in an intimate relationship.
Police located the accused later in the day and he was arrested. He was held for a morning court appearance.
