Following a whirlwind week of roster moves, the St. Thomas Stars will be looking to settle in this Friday when they play host to the Sarnia Legionnaires.
Despite a shift in leadership that saw head coach Dave Matsos move on to the OHL, it’s been a great start to 2025 so far. The Stars have secured 6 out of 8 possible points in the New Year and aim to keep the momentum going during a special promotional game.
Tim Smart, General Sales Manager at 94.1 myFM explains further.
We’re teaming up once again to help the Stars “Fill the Rink” and have been hooked-up with tickets for St. Thomas hockey fans.
The free tickets will be available while supplies last at our office at 300 Talbot Street (lower level of Grand Central Apartments), giving residents the perfect chance to check out this new team.
Adding that a special moment will be held for a beloved Stars superfan.
Puck drop is set for 7:30 p.m., with fans encouraged to arrive early to take it all in. And while our Stars broadcasts are normally reserved for away games, Chris Soares and David Honsberger will be live on 94.1 myFM from the Joe Thornton Community Centre this Friday.
*Don’t forget to pick up your free tickets as those without will have to pay regular admission at the door.
