Central Community Health Centre is hosting a free Stroller Walk and Talk Program every Tuesday from January 14th to March 4th for parents with children twelve months or under.
The program will take place in the Elgin Centre community room at 417 Wellington Street.
It begins with the stroller walk from 10 to 10:30 a.m., followed by an educational talk from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
The dates and topics of the educational talks are:
– Tuesday, January 14th (infant feeding and nutrition)
– Tuesday, January 21st (infant common ailments)
– Tuesday, January 28th (caregiver and postpartum mental health)
– Tuesday, February 4th (pelvic floor health)
– Tuesday, February 11th (infant developmental milestones: Physical and growth)
– Tuesday, February 18th (infant developmental milestones: Speech and language)
– Tuesday, February 25th (postpartum nutrition)
– Tuesday, March 4th (sleep and infant massage)
Nutritious snacks will be provided, and no pre-registration is required.
Transportation and child minding will also be available.
