A total of $58,000 was donated to three local organizations by the city’s utility provider, Entegrus.
Among the three organizations, the St. Thomas STEAM Centre received a donation of $20,000 to expand their student programs and education services.
Fresh Start Support Services will receive $28,000 to support the House of Homes project, which aims to provide individuals and families in need with safe, stable housing.
And, the St. Thomas Elevated Park is to get $10,000 to go toward tree planting and trail enhancements.
Jim Hogan, President and CEO of Entegrus says, “By supporting organizations like Fresh Start Support Services, the St. Thomas STEAM Centre, and the St. Thomas Elevated Park, we are investing in initiatives that address both critical needs and contribute to the long-term vibrancy of our region.”
He adds, “These projects are excellent examples that represent the innovation, care, and determination that continues to make St. Thomas a thriving community. We’re proud to support their efforts.”
