A 29-year-old Aylmer man has been charged after police responded to a suspicious vehicle on Parkview Heights Saturday.
Aylmer Police were called to the area near the public works building around 3 a.m., to a report of a vehicle stuck in the mud.
During an interaction with the driver, police detected alcohol, which prompted a roadside screening test. The driver then registered a result that led to a three-day license suspension.
Further investigation also revealed that the driver was unable to provide proof of insurance.
As a result, the 29-year-old Aylmer man was charged under the Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act for failing to surrender proof of insurance.
