A heads up for those that utilize Railway City Transit as the service will taking a short holiday break.
Buses will not be running on Christmas Day, Boxing Day or New Year’s Day.
You are reminded that Railway City Transit will once again be offering their free New Year’s Eve service however.
The bus service will be offered from 5:45 p.m. on Dec. 31st until 2:45 a.m. on New Year’s Day, with last pick up being 2:15.
The free rides consist of a demand-responsive transit service that will pick up from a requested bus stop and drop off at another stop on the bus system. Full details here.
City council also approved the suspension of the overnight parking restriction enforcement on Dec 25, 26, and Jan 1.
