Hawk Cliff Woods is hosting its annual Migration Weekend both Saturday and Sunday- offering a unique opportunity to witness the migration of hawks and other raptors along Lake Erie.
The free event is taking place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, at 4107 Hawk Cliff Road in Union.
The Hawk Cliff Raptor Banders will be on hand to discuss migration and showcase some of the species involved in their conservation work.
In addition to hawk talks, activities include Monarch butterfly discussions, face painting, guided hikes through a meadow restoration project, and a special presentation from the Raptor Conservancy of Canada.
No registration is required, and visitors can stop by anytime throughout the weekend.
While parking will be available, space is limited.
