“The Perils Of Persephone” is on stage at Port Stanley Festival Theatre through September 14th! Dan Needles takes us back to 1989 for a comedy about fossils, radioactive material, cows, toxic dumps, and – most importantly – damage control. Full details and tickets can be found here.

The St. Thomas Public Library’s Crafters Circle will be taking place from 9 a.m. to noon today (Wednesday). It’s the perfect opportunity to meet new people, work on your crafts and share each other’s company! They host the Crafter Circle every Wednesday.
Seniors’ Walk & Talk hosted by the library goes from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday. Take a leisurely walk on the path at the St. Thomas Elevated Park and chat along the way. If its rainy or icy, we will meet at the Joe Thornton Community Centre at 75 CASO Crossing.
Tech Talk returns to the library tomorrow and is offered every Thursday from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Join the library team in the Board Room where you can get your questions answered and learn something new. All levels of tech experience welcome!
The library will also be hosting one of its Fall Film Nights from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday. Join in for a free screening of the film The Perfect Story from the National Film Board of Canada collection.

Trivia takes place every Wednesday night at Railway City Brewing from 7 to 9! Stop in for an evening of good food and fun with no need to preregister.

LOCAL SPORTS:
The St. Thomas Stars have wrapped up preseason action and will begin the 2024-25 campaign on the road on September 13th. They’ll take on the St. Marys Lincolns, with puck drop set for 7:30 p.m.
