A drug trafficking investigation initiated by the St. Thomas Police Service’ Street Crimes Unit has resulted in the seizure of $32,000 in drugs and 31 charges laid.
The search warrant was executed this morning (Wednesday) at an address in southwest part of the city.
As a result, the following items have been seized:
61.6 grams – Fentanyl (street value of $12,320)
11.8 grams – Methamphetamine (street value of $1,180)
23.2 grams – Cocaine (street value of $2,320)
37 – 9mg Hydromorphone pills (street value of $629)
18 – 1mg Hydromorphone pills (street value of $90)
325.5 – 8mg Dilaudid pills (street value of $6,500)
55 – 5mg Oxycocet pills (street value of $385)
Total street value of seized drugs: $32,424.00
Forty-five-year-old Kim Tilley has been charged with:
- Seven counts of Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl, Methamphetamine, Cocaine, Hydromorphone (three variants), Oxycocet
- One count of Unauthorized possession of a weapon – switchblade
- One count Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000
- 12 counts of Failure to comply with release order
Fifty-two-year-old Chad McEvoy has been charged with:
- Seven counts of Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl, Methamphetamine, Cocaine, Hydromorphone (three variants), Oxycocet
- One count of Unauthorized possession of a weapon – switchblade
- Two counts of Fail to Comply with Probation Order
