STUFF TO DO!
The St. Thomas Public Library will be hosting TGIF Storytime! tonight from 6 to 7. This themed storytime will feature a craft, dancing , singing, and of course, books!
Saturday Stories goes tomorrow at the library from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Join staff each Saturday for storytime, which is full of active songs and stories!
Be Tweens! takes place Saturday at the library from 2 to 3 p.m. Be Tweens is a chance for tweens to meet other tweens in the community, explore what the library has to offer, and participate in a fun activity. This weeks theme is Folding Fun!

“The Beaver Club” written by up and coming playwright Barb Scheffler is back at Port Stanley Festival Theatre! It’s a four women show that follows neighbours Eunice, Karen, Radiance and Yvette as they scrapbook, squabble and skinny dip their way from Toronto to Dildo, Newfoundland. The Almighty Roast Beef Dinner Fundraiser returns tonight at St. Thomas Anglican Church. This occur on the 4th Friday of each month from 5 to 6:30 p.m. (except July, Aug. & Dec.) and is $20 per meal.

The Horton Farmers’ Market is open Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon! They’ve been bringing the farm to the heart of the city since 1878 and you can stop by every Saturday through November 2nd to shop the fresh and local foods as well as endless creations from the talented artisans.

The Old Imperial Farmers’ Market is open every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Aylmer! It’s a family-friendly, year-round, indoor Farmers’ Market that celebrates, supports, and showcases the best of what our community has to offer.

A Community Yard Sale is taking place this Saturday from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Union Community Centre. Stop by for some great deals!

On Saturday, St. Thomas residents will join Canadians from coast-to-coast by once again lacing up their shoes for the IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s. All you have to do to support the cause is walk 14,000 steps to celebrate and honour the people in our region who are currently living with dementia. The walk kicks off at 10 a.m. at Pinafore Park with full details available here.

The Whistlestop Bicycle Festival is taking place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday in the newly opened Westlake Evans Park. This free event will celebrate everything to do with cycling, active transportation, and community fun- featuring a Historic Cycle Display, High Wheel Demo, live music, activities, a magician, and more. The Pinafore Tennis Club in partnership with the Ontario Tennis Association will be hosting a “Fun Day” on Sunday from 10 a.m. to noon- in an effort to promote and increase participation in the sport. You can take part in a skills clinic and see if your serve can measure up to the likes of tennis sensations Felix Auger Aliassime or Leylah Fernaddez in the Smash Cage. More details here.

The 34th Annual Belmont Firefighters Breakfast returns Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to noon in support of the Belmont Volunteer Firefighters Association. Adult breakfast featuring eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, homefries, toast and more is available for just $10, with kids under 12 being $5- cash only! More details here.
