
According to figures released at the end of March under the Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, 142 St. Thomas municipal employees received a salary of $100,000 or more in 2023.
That’s up from 132 the previous year.
The highest wage earner was outgoing city manager Sandra Datars Bere at $220,606, up from $196,418 in 2022.
The list includes 51 employees who are members of the St. Thomas Police Association and 42 employees who are members of the St. Thomas Professional Fire Fighters Association.
Other notables include St. Thomas Police Chief Marc Roskamp $209,642 (he was deputy chief in 2022).
St. Thomas Fire Chief Dave Gregory $167,440 ($158,295 in 2022).
Justin Lawrence, now executive director of industrial development, $195,807 ($164,094).
Dan Sheridan, director of city finances and city treasurer, $170,976 ($160,462)
Heather Sheridan, director of social services, $160,123 ($152,956).
