A 57-year-old Aylmer man has died following a single vehicle in the town Monday.
Aylmer Police along with local fire and EMS responded to the collision on South Street West just after 6:30 p.m.
The lone male driver was transported to hospital where he was later pronounced deceased. The collision does remain under investigation.
Police note that the roadway was closed for the evening and much of the morning as ERTH Power crews completed repairs to a damaged hydro pole.
