STUFF TO DO!
TGIF Storytime! returns the St. Thomas Public Library today from 6 to 7 p.m. This themed storytime will feature a craft, dancing , singing, and of course, books!
Drop N’ Swap: Seed Swap will take place on Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon. Come out to February’s Drop N’ Swap to clear out your seed supply and pick up something new!
Saturday Stories also goes tomorrow at the library from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Join staff each Saturday for storytime, which is full of active songs and stories!

Winter at Horton is back this Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. All the vendors will be set up inside, giving you the chance to get some of your market favourites even during the winter months. This continues each Saturday through April 20th.

Old Imperial Farmers’ Market is also open this Saturday and every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. It’s a family-friendly, year-round, indoor Farmers’ Market that celebrates, supports, and showcases the best of what our community has to offer.

A Free Family Skate is being hosted Sunday at the Port Stanley Arena from 1 to 2:30 p.m. The community is invited to take part and refreshments will be provided.

The St. Thomas Kinsmen are hosting a free skate at the Joe Thorton Community Centre on February 18th from 1:15 to 2:45 p.m.

What’s taking place for Family Day you ask?
Join in the first annual Family Day Beach Hockey Golf event taking place in Port Stanley on Saturday! It’s hosted by St Thomas-Elgin Crime Stoppers and more details can be found on our Community Calendar.
The Township of Southwold will be celebrating Family Day with a “bang” on Saturday as the 6th annual Winterfest returns. Full details can be found here.
Have some “Summer Fun” this Family Day at the Elgin County Heritage Centre from 1 to 4 p.m. Take part in crafts, visit the exhibits and even try a museum scavenger hunt! Learn more here!
Winter Family Fun Day is Back at Backus Page House Museum. Bring the entire family out for a fun-filled day of activities. Crafts, Outdoor Activities, Tours and so much more! Kids are Free, adults $10. Get all the details here.
Railway 1856 Ultimate Mini Golf will be open all weekend, including from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Family Day.

LOCAL SPORTS: Support Our Teams!
The St. Thomas Stars return to action tonight when they host the LaSalle Vipers at the Joe Thornton Community Centre. Puck drop is set for 7:30 p.m. 94.1 myFM will also be broadcasting the game live! The Stars have a busy weekend ahead which will be capped by an exciting Family Day matinee game against the London Nationals. More details can be found here.
