The St. Thomas Public Library’s Crafters Circle will be taking place today from 9 a.m. to noon. It’s the perfect opportunity to meet new people, work on your crafts and share each other’s company! They host the Crafter Circle every Wednesday.
Tech Talk returns to the library tomorrow and is offered every other Thursday from 3 to 4 p.m. Join the library team in the Board Room where you can get your questions answered and learn something new. All levels of tech experience welcome!

The Belmont Arena is hosting Public Skating today from 10 to 11:30 a.m. The cost is $2 for adults, $2 for children under 12 or $6 for a family. This repeats each Wednesday through March 31st.

Trivia takes place every Wednesday night at Railway City Brewing from 7 to 9! Stop in for an evening of good food and fun with no need to preregister.

February 1st is Optimist Day! Optimist Day is celebrated throughout the world annually on the first Thursday of February. This is a day where the world can be an Optimist themselves in action, plus join in honoring Optimist Clubs and Members in their community and worldwide for all they do year round to promote efforts in bring out the best in youth, our communities, and ourselves. On February 1st the city of St. Thomas will proclaim it as “Optimist Day” with a proclamation at City hall at 11 a.m.

LOCAL SPORTS: Support Our Teams!
It’s exam time for many of our local high schools so Thames Valley Regional Athletics are sitting idle this week.
The St. Thomas Stars will return to action Friday following a busy weekend. They’re set to host the Fort Erie Meteors in a special “myFM Fill the Rink” game at the Joe Thornton Community Centre. Puck drop set for 7:30 p.m. Anyone wishing to pick up free tickets for the game this Friday, February 2nd can stop by Briwood Farm Market or the radio station between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. until Thursday to do so.
