While we may be fresh into 2024, next week our local grade 8 students will be thinking ahead to September.
A series of Grade 8 Information Sessions have been planned across the city and county, inviting students and their families to see what makes each of our local high schools unique- from academics and trades to sports, music and art.
This includes at…
St. Joseph’s Catholic High School, Monday, January 15th from 5:30 to 8 p.m.
Parkside Collegiate Institute, Tuesday, January 16th from 7 to 9 p.m.
West Elgin Secondary School, Wednesday, January 17th from 6 to 8 p.m.
East Elgin Secondary School, Wednesday January 17th at 6:30 p.m.
Central Elgin Collegiate Institute, Wednesday January 17th from 7 to 9 p.m.
Arthur Voaden Secondary School, Thursday, January 18th at 7 p.m.
Most of these parent information nights will include a special presentation about the high school, its programs and the registration process. Both parents and students can take a tour of the school and ask the principal and teachers any questions they may have.
More details on parent information nights within the TVDSB can be found here.
