The body of a 64-year-old London man who went missing Aug 31 in the water near Port Stanley has been found.
The operator of a sailboat reported the individual was missing after entering the water for a swim.
According to OPP Const. Brett Phair, the body was found by members of the OPP Elgin Marine Unit about 6.5 kilometres from his last reported location.
OPP Aviation Services and the OPP Underwater Search and Recovery Unit assisted in the search effort along with the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre, Canadian Coast Guard and Central Elgin Fire.
