Southwestern Public Health is again reporting high levels of bacteria at several area beaches.
The health unit advises it is currently unsafe to swim at Port Bruce, Springwater Conservation Area and at Little Beach in Port Stanley.
Remember, if the water is cloudy from rough water or heavy rains, it may have high levels of bacteria for up to two days. The public is advised to consider recent weather conditions when deciding on whether or not to go swimming.
Beach water quality updates are also available 24/7 by dialing 2-1-1, Ontario’s free information and referral service.
