The community of St. Thomas continues to step up in support of the Curtis family following Tuesday’s tragic incident on Talbot Street.
In addition to the outpouring of love and sympathy from residents and the creation of a pop-up memorial, a number of local businesses and organizations are stepping up by collecting donations and offering proceeds from sales to the Curtis Family.
This includes Subzero Ice Cream Shop, Fries R Us, Railway City Surplus, and The St. Thomas Coed Slo-Pitch League.
Food Basics in St. Thomas will be collecting donations both today and Friday as well. This is not only in honour of Aiden, but his 17-year-old brother Jordan who is an employee of the local grocery store.
Thanks to our listeners for letting us know that Burger King will also be accepting donations, with all funds going to the Curtis family. In addition they will be decorating the lobby in red on Monday for Aiden’s birthday.
A Go Fund Me page has also been created for the family to help cover funeral expenses for Aiden.
