The Port Burwell Historical Society has been busy planning their annual Canada Day celebration.
The day begins at 10 a.m. with free children’s activities taking place at the Marine Museum and a Vendors Market hosted at Beach Patties.
The Canada Day Parade kicks off at the Royal Canadian Legion beginning at 11:30 a.m., and winds through downtown Port Burwell to the Cenotaph at Memorial Park. There the Legion Colour Party will conduct a flag raising ceremony and lead the singing of O’ Canada.
A free BBQ and cake will then be available at the Port Burwell gazebo, with the Harvard formation flyover taking place at 12:30.
