A 42-year-old St. Thomas resident kept police quite busy this past weekend.
Kevin Ashford was initially arrested Friday night after failing to abide by release conditions stemming from a previous charge.
The accused was held for court Saturday morning and released with a future court date and conditions.
Then later that day, Ashford was identified through a store’s security camera as the individual observed stealing a tablet from a display.
As a result, the 42-year-old is now wanted on one count of Theft Under $5000, and one count of Failing to Comply with a condition of Probation.
