As we’ve heard from St. Thomas residents since the announcement last July, this is something very needed in the community. And it officially opens to the public today!
The Putting Zoo, the city’s newest attraction, offers 18 holes of outdoor miniature golf for people of all ages to enjoy.
It’s located just beside the entrance to Pinafore Park at 79 Elm Street, and Owner Vyvyan Campbell can’t wait to welcome everyone.
It’s been a bit of a journey getting here as Campbell noted during the soft launch myFM attended last week, but opening day has finally come!
But it was well worth the wait as Campbell says, with the community now getting the chance to experience this one of kind course, which is what she’s most excited for.
Designer Paul Jansen, who team has worked on courses in more than 30 countries, even brought out a special guest to test the new greens as Campbell adds.
Beginning today, the Putting Zoo will be open 7 days a week from 9 a.m. to dusk, weather pending. A new entrance and 36 car parking lot can be accessed off Elm Street, with a pedestrian access available through Pinafore Park.
More details including game pricing can be found here.
