A local event that looks to bring the community together for a day full of live music, food and fun all in support of local charities, is doubling down this year with Summerfest Extravaganza!
It’s been known as a 1 day event since the inception back in 2006, but this year’s Summerfest will bring 2 days of entertainment to downtown St. Thomas as Chair Gerry Holden explains.
Also new this year is the change in venue to the Back Alley Bar & Grill, where the fun kicks off this Friday night at 5 notes Holden.
Before the show resumes Saturday evening, the addition of an outdoor community vendor market will keep the party going all day long!
Holden adds that country music fans will definitely want to get their tickets for Saturday, as Fresh Horses makes their way to St. Thomas.
And the best part as Holden explains, is that all money raised through Summerfest will go directly to Hospice of Elgin.
Both 50/50 draw tickets and Summerfest Extravaganza tickets can be purchased online here. Those wishing to pick up tickets in person can stop by the Back Alley, the Columbus Club or Elford Automotive.
Holden adds that the success of the event wouldn’t be possible without the support of local businesses and thanks the following sponsors…
