Canada Day celebrations in St. Thomas will again culminate in a dazzling fireworks display, but they won’t light up the sky over Pinafore Park.
Instead the venue has been moved this year to 1Password Park.
St. Thomas Mayor Joe Preston tells myFM what prompted the change.
From free facing painting to a barbecue to time spent at the petting zoo, Canada Day celebrations in St. Thomas will have something for everyone.
Preston runs down the day’s activities.
Yes, it’s a different venue, but the same day of family friendly fun.
But you don’t have to limit your fun to 1Password Park stresses Preston.
The Ice Box concessions will be open with soft serve, slushies, drinks, and more.
Youngsters are welcome to enjoy the playground and cool off on the splashpad.
