It’s an open house with a decided difference.
This Sunday the 31 Combat Engineer Regiment – The Elgins – will host the event at St. Thomas Armoury on Wilson Avenue.
Canadian Army Reserve personnel will present a weapons display, undertake military bridging demonstrations and have an interactive mine detector display with inert mines.
Members of the local army and air cadet units will be on hand to provide more information on these youth programs.
It’s an opportunity to learn more about the Army Reserve, job opportunities and tour the facilities.
Recruiters will be on hand for those interested in job opportunities or joining the Army Reserve.
The open house runs 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Sunday at 80 Wilson Avenue.
