While the Aylmer Fire Department are usually the ones called upon to fight the flames, this Sunday they’ll be helping celebrate them.
The Aylmer Flames U11 Rep team recently won the OMHA Tier 2 Championship in Barrie and to celebrate the win, the team plans to hop aboard some local fire trucks and take a ride down main street.
The parade of fire trucks will take off from the East Elgin Community Complex on Sunday at 11:15 a.m. and make its way down Talbot Street as the team show of their trophy, medals and #redhats.
