We fell in love with this property last year when my husband found this fantastic farm for sale online during a sleepless night. After a whirlwind of selling our home, researching how to start a business, and beginning our lavender education, we opened our shop and gardens two weeks after moving to Sparta!
I have loved talking with the people who visit our lavender gardens, sharing our story and learning a little about theirs.
People love lavender, and with good reason! It is an incredible plant that’s not only beautiful and fragrant but also has so many therapeutic benefits, from promoting relaxation and improving sleep quality, reducing redness, blemishes and skin irritation, deodorizing stale air, fabrics and body odours, and culinary lavender adds a subtle floral flavour to sweet and savoury dishes.
Our lavender and farm life education continues with adventures nearly every day! I am planning new experiences and events for the coming year, researching new products for our shop, and connecting with the area’s amazing community and local businesses. I’m so excited for our 2023 season to begin when our gardens and shop open for the season on May 13 – Mother’s Day weekend.
