What began as a hobby turned into a business, a fairly typical story for women in our time. While raising her young daughters at home, Suzanne turned from her work in graphic design to create handmade goods. Beginning with textiles, she sewed pillows and small home décor items, eventually expanding into handbags. She also began working with wood and stone to create small side tables and original clocks for the wall or mantel. She blends craft with design to create unique functional pieces. Each piece is designed and produced in-house here in St. Thomas. The sewing studio operates out of the newly opened storefront downtown, and she recently launched her website and sells online direct to customers.
