At Your Bake & Call is a small batch, artisan bakery. It started with the hot chocolate bomb craze in 2020, and I decided to try my hand at hot chocolate bombs for a secret Santa gift. They were a hit, and friends started asking me if they could purchase some as gifts. I ended up making over 500 hot chocolate bombs in December 2020.
While I enjoyed making hot chocolate bombs, baking has always been my true passion, so I shifted my business toward baked goods in the summer of 2021. I love experimenting with new flavours and being creative in the kitchen! Treat boxes, cookies, cheesecakes and loaded brownies have been the most popular items, but I love that my customers are always willing to try one of my new ideas. Before having children, I was a legal administrative assistant for the Criminal Crown Attorney in London, so it has been quite the transition. Running my own business has also allowed me the flexibility to spend time with my young children. I am so thankful that our small business community is helpful, inclusive and welcoming – it helped ease this transition for me!
