Good news for visitors to Port Stanley, with changes to parking in the village approved this week by Central Elgin council.
Parking lots at the Port Stanley Pharmacy and the visitors centre will now be free.
Parking on Main and Bridge streets has been extended to a three-hour limit.
And parking time limits on Hetty and Col. Bostwick streets will be lifted.
As Bridge Street is a county road, the change will require approval by Elgin county council.
