A photographer from Ingersoll has gone viral for his recent photos of an ‘angry’ Lake Erie.
Cody Evans has been shooting pictures of Lake Erie since 2020, whenever there were high winds in the forecast.
One photo he took last month in Port Stanley looks just like a face in the water.
Evans says that it wasn’t until he got home that he noticed the ‘money shot’
Fall in Port Stanley has become a destination for many photographers as they try to capture photos of the violent waves on windy days. Probably the most violent out of all the Great Lakes.
Evans says that he has never seen anything like it.
Evans said many people online were doubting that the picture was real, even saying it was photoshopped. However, his Nikon camera can take up to 20 photos per second and even has the original photo file to prove its authenticity.
He has dubbed the photo ‘Poseidons Wrath’
