Rob Flack kicked into full election mode Tuesday as he officially opened his campaign office at 648 Talbot Street in St. Thomas.
Amid the cake, balloons and signage Flack, the PC candidate for Elgin-Middlesex-London in the June 2 provincial election, greeted well-wishers and introduced members of his team.
Flack – president and CEO of Masterfeeds in London – says the early feedback he is getting from St. Thomas and Elgin voters revolves around concerns about post-pandemic economic recovery.
The problem today in Ontario is employment, not unemployment.
As he waits for the provincial election writ to drop May 4, Flack has been talking to voters about economic recovery, housing and the state of long-term care homes in Ontario.
If elected June 2, Flack says he wants to put his leadership experience “and, hopefully, a little bit of common sense to work for the people of EML so we continue to attract investment here.”
