With summer in full swing and restrictions on gatherings eased, the village of Port Stanley is experiencing the height of tourism season.
No one’s more happy for that than the local business owners, including Lauren Vandixhoorn of Solo on Main.
As both the chef and owner, Vandixhoorn says she prides herself on keeping their ingredients as local as possible.
From seafood heavy dishes, to appetizers made both to share and for yourself, the restaurant conveniently located on the harbour has an ever changing menu with something for everyone.
With their patio and indoor dining open to customers, Vandixhoorn says it has been pretty busy down at Solo on Main.
Vandixhoorn says once the craziness of summer is over, they will go back to offering take out at the restaurant.
Another small change for Solo on Main is following Labour Day, they will be closed each Wednesday until further notice.
