For the entire month of August, the St. Thomas Public Library is giving families a chance to bring literacy and the great outdoors together with a story walk taking place at Waterworks park.
Programming Coordinator Darlene Vreman says this partnership with TD as part of their Summer Reading Club, is a big deal!
Families can stop by Waterworks Park to take in the story of “The Thing Lou Couldn’t Do” by Ashley Spires, which Vreman says has the perfect message for little ones.
Vreman says that the book is set up throughout the park, giving families a unique opportunity to take in the story.
She adds that it is the perfect pandemic friendly outing for the family.
The story is available to read all day, everyday, from August 3rd- 31st!
