The Church of God in Aylmer once again disobeyed public health orders this weekend, when Pastor Henry Hildebrandt encouraged people to leave their vehicles during what started as a drive-in service.
The congregation then huddled together outside before Hildebrandt took it another step further.
That “tour” consisted of roughly 10 minutes of a regular church service, such as singing and prayers, all without masks being worn.
This followed a service where Hildebrandt took time to target the government and his view that COVID-19 is not as serious as officials claim it is.
Hildebrandt also spent much of his sermon claiming that the government is using COVID-19 to control the population.
He specifically talked about the newly elected President of the United States Joe Biden while also telling his congregation his views on masks.
