Elgin OPP in partnership with the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre, Canadian Coast Guard and Canadian Coast Guard Auxiliary continue their search today (Saturday) for a missing boater from the Port Glasgow area. The 77-year-old Dutton man was reported overdue around 11 a.m. Friday after departing Port Glasgow on his sailboat Thursday afternoon.
Around 7 p.m. Friday his capsized vessel was spotted and today the OPP Underwater Search and Recovery Unit is conducting a search in the area of the capsized vessel for the missing man.
