The St. Thomas & District Chamber of Commerce are currently looking for a new CEO. This comes after the retirement of longtime CEO Bob Hammersley who put in 33 years with the Chamber. The Chamber Board is currently accepting confidential ‘Expressions of Interest’ for the leadership role until November 22nd at 11 a.m.
Chair of the Board of Directors Sean Dyke says this will allow the Chamber to build on the strong foundation that already exists.
Dyke says that anyone interested in submitting an ‘Expressions of Interest’ must answer the 5 provided questions and send them to CEOsearch@stthomaschamber.ca.
The Board is also reaching out to current Chamber members to fill out a survey in order to get a better understanding on how to best serve its existing and future membership. Those who choose to participate in the survey by November 20th will be eligible for a complimentary one-year Chamber membership. The winner of this draw will be announced by 4:00 p.m. on November 22nd.
