A St. Thomas teen faces several charges including assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest after the theft of beer from a southside convenience store.
Around 8:30 Wednesday night (April 16), police attended the store where the accused had left without paying for two cases of beer.
The 17-year-old was located but they resisted arrest and assaulted an officer.
They were taken into custody and additionally charged with theft under $5,000.
