A 55-year-old St. Thomas resident has been charged with impaired operation after an episode early Sunday morning.
St. Thomas Police responded to a collision on Fifth Avenue between an e-bike and a parked car.
No injuries were reported.
After speaking with the e-bike operator, police determined they were intoxicated and breath samples indicated they were impaired by alcohol at nearly two and half times the legal limit.
The operator has been charged with :
- Operation while impaired
- Operation while impaired by alcohol plus-80
- Operation while prohibited
