
A third arrest has been made related to the arson and homicide investigation into the shooting death last July of Victoria Dill.
Just before 2 this afternoon (Wednesday), St. Thomas Police arrested a 50-year-old man at a southside residence and he was charged with manslaughter and arson – disregard for human life.
Shortly after midnight on July 3 of last year, city police and emergency personnel responded to several 9-1-1 calls related to a house fire at Hiawatha and Curtis streets where Dill’s body was found.
Dill was transported to hospital but was pronounced deceased as a result of her injuries.
She died from a gunshot wound.
Near the end of July, with assistance from the OPP Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement Unit and the London Police Service Emergency Response Unit, St. Thomas Police arrested 21-year-old Keegan Harvey in London.
Harvey – the second arrest in the homicide – is facing charges of arson – disregard for human life and accessory after the fact to murder.
Earlier that same week, the first arrest was made when 30-year-old Nathan Deleemans of St. Thomas was charged with one count of second degree murder, one count arson – disregard for human life and one count of fail to comply with a probation order.
