A 34-year-old is facing several charges after allegedly assaulting an employee during a disturbance at a downtown St. Thomas business.
According to St. Thomas police, the individual became agitated, yelling and swearing at staff before management attempted to escort them off the premises. During the confrontation, the 34-year-old reportedly assaulted one of the employees.
Officers arrived shortly after and located the suspect nearby. They were arrested without incident and now face multiple charges including assault, causing a disturbance, three counts of failing to comply with probation, failing to leave the premises when directed, and soliciting.
The 34-year-old was transported to St. Thomas Police Headquarters and held for a court appearance.
