The Town of Aylmer is considering the creation of an off-leash dog park and as they work towards next steps- they want to hear from residents.
A community survey is available, giving locals the chance to share their thoughts on the potential park, including preferred locations, desired amenities, and ideas for park stewardship.
The feedback gathered will play a key role in shaping future decisions and ensuring the park meets the needs of both residents and their pets.
The town has outlined three potential locations for the park, including Adjacent to the Skate Park/Ball Diamond – Optimist Park, on the East Elgin Community Complex Lands and Centennial Estates Park (Alexander Drive).
A list of benefits, potential challenges, and cost breakdown for each location have also been developed to assist residents in their decision.
The survey takes approximately 10 minutes to complete, and all responses will remain anonymous.
The survey deadline is April 22nd.
