A St. Thomas resident has been bilked out of thousands of dollars in an investment scam.
The victim had invested funds into The Good Life organization beginning in February of last year.
The female scammer communicated with the victim by phone, using different numbers.
When the victim realized it was a scam, communication and fund transfers stopped.
In total, the victim is out approximately $70,000.
Members of the St. Thomas Police Criminal Investigation Bureau are dealing with the matter.
