St. Thomas Police arrested a 28-year-old resident following a reported theft in the city’s west end.
Officers responded after a complainant reported lending their cell phone to an individual who then refused to return it. Upon arrival, police determined that the suspect was also wanted in connection with an unrelated incident.
The individual was taken into custody, and a search before transport led to the recovery of the stolen phone, which was returned to its rightful owner.
The suspect was processed at police headquarters and held for a court appearance.
