Port Stanley Festival Theatre is giving families the chance to experience a direct from Off Broadway, musical spectacular this March Break as Emilio’s A Million Chameleons takes the stage.
myFM had the chance to catch up with creator and star, Adam Francis Proulx before the big show on Wednesday, March 12th, who shared how exciting it is to be bringing the production to Port Stanley.
The whimsical, high-energy show, tells a heartwarming tale about self-acceptance, transformation, and finding your inner sparkle, with Proulx assuring “fun for the whole family.”
The production originated at Toronto’s Tarragon Theatre Greenhouse Festival, where Proulx worked with co-creator Byron Laviolette to develop the show.
This includes an off-Broadway run at Soho Playhouse after wowing audiences at the Edmonton Fringe Festival. One of the reasons Proulx continues to tour the show, is to share the powerful message that comes along with it.
Adding that it’s not just for the kids in the audience.
And with it being an interactive show, Proulx notes that you never really know what’s going to happen when you hit the stage.
You can catch Emilio’s A Million Chameleons live at 1 p.m. on March 12th. Tickets are available at PSFT.ca.
