Just six per cent of eligible voters in Ontario cast their ballot over three days of advance voting in the upcoming provincial election.
Figures released by Elections Ontario on Monday show that almost 679,000 voters marked ballots at advance polls from February 20th to 22nd, representing 6.14 per cent of eligible voters.
That’s down from the 2022 provincial election when 9.92 per cent of those eligible voted early over 10 days.
The numbers in Elgin-Middlesex-London were actually pretty good. Elections Ontario says 9,138 people or 8.79 percent voted in advance polls.
