Ontario voters will head to the polls on February 27, 2025, as the province gears up for an early general election.
Prospective candidates must submit their Candidate Nomination Papers in person at their local election office by 2 p.m. (ET) on February 13, 2025. A government-issued photo ID is required to complete the process.
Voters opting to cast their ballot by mail must apply by 6 p.m. on February 21, 2025. Completed voting kits must be received by Elections Ontario no later than 6 p.m. on Election Day, February 27, to be counted.
Voting kits will be mailed to applicants, and processing may take up to four days. Kits can be returned using the prepaid envelope provided or dropped off at a local election office.
For residents in the Elgin-Middlesex-London riding, the returning office is located at 300 Talbot Street in St. Thomas, upper level of Grand Central Place.
